I rode from Morgantown to Lancaster PA, It was a ride through beautiful Lancaster county farmland. It was Sunday and I saw one church that was packed with buggies and bicycles. The downside was the cold and wind and the rolling hills. Some were as much as 9% grade per ridewithgps.
My road support left after lunch today so I am totally on my own. It puts more pressure on my in regards to food and lodging. I have also tweaked my schedule for the next couple of days and won’t be riding as much as my original plan
I rode over 53 miles. It was hard with the wind and cold and hills but at the end of the day I still feel pretty good.
I saw many dairies and livestock. I also saw a a company called Trone’s Tag, Title and Notary and it reminded me of one of the most difficult things of when i lived in PA. It is titling your car. It requires a special notary and other stuff. It is so complicated that this type of business exists and you just pay them to take care of it.
The highlight of the day was that my son Andrew happened to be in the area with his girl friend Thea. We met for lunch in Lancaster.
I should also add that I am having some trouble updating this the blog via my iPad. Hopefully I will get it figured out eventually.

How cool you got to see your son!
Glad to read that there was such pleasant scenery to enjoy. Wishing you so much good luck and wind to be at your back! Remember to find the joy in these days and try not to stress. You’ve Got This, Kim!!
